Appreciate the power of creating a classroom culture where failure (i.e. falling short of

Teachers will learn how to:

Help students deliver compelling two-minute speeches with no notes, i.e. Two-Minutes to Mastery.
Create a supportive workshop environment for students.
Craft compelling prompts, arguments, and value specific facts and focus.
Appreciate the power of creating a classroom culture where failure (i.e. falling short of expectations) is seen as an opportunity to grow and try again. In short, when the bar is high and the stakes are low good things happen.

In addition to One Hour Workshop, teachers will learn how to:

Help students deliver compelling two-minute speeches with no notes, i.e. Two-Minutes to Mastery.
Write energizing prompts, craft concise arguments, and deliver lucid speeches.
"Fail" and try again in collaboration with colleagues as teachers will deliver "One-Minute Speeches" no notes.

Clarify expectations for Two-Minutes to Mastery in a workshop environment.
Help students research with specific focus to help them demonstrate fluent command.
